Stefan Merrill Block was born in Chicago, Illinois, attended the University of Chicago and received his doctorate from Harvard. He has taught at the University of Chicago, Dartmouth College, Wheaton College, the University of Michigan, Calvin College, and the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He has written many books on theology, history, and personality theory. A prolific author he has also written for The Wall Street Journal.
